M50 Speed Run · Last updated 9 August 2026
The short version: M50 has no ads, no tracking, and never asks for your name or email. The whole game works offline. If you are online, your score is sent to a leaderboard under a random ID that is not linked to you as a person.
Information we collect
No personal information. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and the game contains no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics SDK.
When you finish a run and you are online, the game sends:
- Your score, distance travelled and number of near misses
- Which car you were driving
- The time the run finished
- A random anonymous ID, generated on your device
That random ID is what makes a leaderboard possible. It is not derived from your name, your email, your phone, or any device identifier, and it cannot be used to identify you. It exists only so your own runs can be told apart from everybody else's.
Playing offline
The game is fully playable with no connection. If you are offline, finished runs are stored on your device and sent the next time you have one. Nothing about the game is gated behind being online.
Data stored on your device
The game saves your progress locally so it survives closing the app. That data never leaves your device and is not readable by us:
- Your best score, total cash, and number of runs
- Which cars you have unlocked and which one is selected
- Whether sound is muted
- Daily mission progress
Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no backup or copy anywhere else.
Network access
The entire game, including its 3D engine, ships inside the app. Nothing is streamed or downloaded while you play, and there are no adverts or trackers making requests in the background.
The only thing the game ever sends is a finished run's leaderboard entry, as described above. It is fully playable in airplane mode -- offline runs are held on your device and sent the next time you have a connection.
Sharing your score
Tapping share generates a score image on your device and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes. The image is written to a temporary cache folder that the system clears on its own, and the image itself is never uploaded to us.
Children's privacy
Because we collect no personal information from anyone -- leaderboard entries are tied to a random ID, not to a person -- we collect none from children. The game contains no advertising, no purchases, and no communication features.
Third parties
Leaderboard scores are stored using Google Firebase, which acts as our data processor. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Firebase privacy documentation. No other third party receives anything.
The game contains no advertising or tracking libraries. It embeds the open-source three.js rendering library, which runs entirely on your device.
Your rights
Because scores are stored under a random ID and we hold no personal information, we have no way to connect leaderboard data to you as an individual. If you would like your submitted scores removed, email the address below with your player ID and we will delete them. Data on your device is entirely under your control and is removed by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the game adds accounts, or anything else that involves more data leaving your device than the leaderboard entry described above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described here instead of just happening.
